Remembrance: Nat Shapiro
Blue Door Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition of the colorful work of Nat Shapiro, with an opening Reception on Saturday, May 23rd from 2-5:00pm. The exhibit will run through June 20th.
Please note the new summer hours of Thursday and Friday 3-8:00 and Saturday 12-5:00. Opening reception is from 2-5:00.
Nat said of his own work, “Art moves in all unimagined directions and leads to unsuspected dimensions. My art, which lacks definable perimeters, seems to go outside myself. I am honestly unaware of its playful, positive natures as I am of its weight. And yet they are there. In the end, art is as much a mystery to me as it is to others.”
What a treat to experience how his art speaks to us in all its varied “languages”. His sense of design is impeccable; deceptively easy, profound in exploration.
