Hudson Valley Music Club February Concert

The Hudson Valley Music Club, now in its 90th season, is pleased to present its February concert program. On Monday, February 23, at 1:00 PM, our Mostly Morning Music series will feature Margorie Hone, flute, Elizabeth Sadewhite, cello and Judith Soffer, piano, performing works by Lotti, Kuhlau, Gaubert and Martinu. Ms. Sadewhite and Judith Dibbern, piano, will perform a sonata by Barber.

Marjorie Hone, our Mostly Morning Music chairman, and a past president of the Hudson Valley Music Club, is principal flutist of the Westchester Symphonic Winds and served as that group’s president for ten years. Elizabeth Sadewhite, who received her B.A. in music at Barnard College, plays chamber music extensively throughout Westchester and surrounding areas and is a member of the Greenwich Symphony. Judith Soffer, our chamber series chairman and a graduate of Hunter College, received a Master of Music degree from New York University. Judith is devoted to playing chamber music and teaches privately at her studio in Katonah. Judith Dibbern holds a Master of Music degree from Southern Methodist University where she specialized in vocal accompanying.
