Crossing Borders In Performance II: Trio Shalva

Israeli jazz Trio Shalva performs Mediterranean-influenced music from recent albums breeza and Riding Alone as well as new original songs, with Assaf Gleizner (piano and melodica), Koby Hayon (bass guitar, acoustic guitar and oud), and Nadav Snir-Zelniker (drums and percussion).  Trio Shalva (Hebrew for “serenity”) explores both new and arranged compositions, combining elements of Jazz with Middle-Eastern, Israeli and Jewish influences.
