Gamelatron Sanctuary: Suara Sinar (The Sound of Light) is a large-scale sound and light exhibition that transforms a large warehouse on the waterfront in Peekskill, NY into a sound and vision refuge.
In the middle of a darkened 10,000 sq. foot space there is an oasis of couches, pillows and rugs. Spiraling out from the oasis in concentric circles stretching across the entire space are Balinese gongs, hit by mechanical mallets, and with a light show timed to go with the gongs.
The creator of Gamelatron, Aaron Taylor Kuffner, is a conceptual artist, sculptor, and composer.
