CCCW Presents Deep Space Astrophotography: Hidden Beauty in the Night Sky

|
Join me as we peel back the veil of darkness and photograph the incredible wonders of deep space, all from our backyards. I’ll tell you a bit about my journey into deep space imaging, an overview on how deep space imaging is accomplished, all while enjoying dozens of images of galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, and more!
Temu Nana works professionally as a photo instructor and tour manager on small-group photographic journeys, taking eager photographers all over the world to explore far-flung corners of the globe and honing their photographic skills while they do it. When he’s not leading tours, he can usually be found obsessing about space: imaging, processing, reading, giving star talks, etc. He started seriously pursuing astrophotography four years ago and has advanced from using his DSLR and stock lenses in his backyard to remotely operating a large private telescope at an observatory in California. His images have been exhibited publicly and online in various forums, and he regularly teaches courses and webinars on deep space imaging.
