7th Annual Port Chester Fest

ArtsWestchester Folk Arts Program collaborates again in the presentation of this spirited community festival in one of Westchester’s most diverse communities. The festival is under the direction of Bryan Diaz, a member of the Hermanos y Amigos de Guatemala, which presented a stunning program of Guatemalan Folklore in ArtsWestchester’s gallery in 2010.

Performances by local folk ensembles: Mariachi Sol Mixteco, Uruguayan ensemble Rio Plata, folk dance by Hermanos y Amigos de Guatemala, a youth Irish Ceili band, as well as blues by Curtis Winchester and Latin dance music by Pablito y Su Avalancha.

Workshops by Mexican folk artist Miguel Cossio, Tova Snyder, the Clay Art Center and the Nowardowski Foundation.  International Food for sale.

All events and programs are free. For more information, check this page, or visit http://portchesterfest.org/
