The Sanctuary Series Presents Piano Symphonique-Beethoven with Frederic Chiu
The Sanctuary Series continues its inaugural spring season with a concert entitled “Piano Symphonique,” featuring Yamaha artist Frederic Chiu playing the Liszt transcription of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and, a duet arrangement of Symphony No. 6, the “Pastoral” with Yashar Yaslowitz, Director of the Carnegie Concert Series in Nyack, NY . Both works enjoyed as they were first heard in small towns throughout Europe on piano rather than orchestra.
