Concert: A Tour of the Big Apple Performance by Cantemus

The talented chorale group, Cantemus, returns for a delightful performance of classics, pop tunes, opera and Broadway melodies—all woven together with an engaging and often humorous narrative. The 15 singers, under the direction of Jena Smith and accompanied by pianist Marianne Salzman, will delight the audience with a whirlwind musical tour of Manhattan. The program makes stops at landmarks including Yankee Stadium, Harlem, Columbia University ,Broadway, Ground Zero, Lincoln Center  The U.N , Wall Street, and the Statue of Liberty      Uptown,  Midtown,   Downtown…full of facts and fancies presented  in a wide array of  musical styles. Join us to explore the city of dreams , opportunities, excitement, and bustle– and you don’t even have to ride the subway!
