Festival Finale: Alisa Weilerstein, cello; Orchestra of St. Luke’s; Pablo Heras-Casado

Alisa Weilerstein brings her critically acclaimed interpretation of the devastatingly beautiful Elgar Cello Concerto to Caramoor.  The Orchestra of St. Luke’s principal conductor Pablo Heras-Casado kicks off  the program with the Prelude to Act III of Lohengrin and closes the Festival with the boisterous  melodies of Dvorák’s Symphony No. 8.
