The Annual Sanger-Stewart Endowed Reading featuring 2013 Chapbook Competition Winner Julie Danho, with Gary Fincke

Each year, The Hudson Valley Writers’ Center holds its Sanger-Stewart Endowed Reading to honor and host the winner of its Annual Slapering Hol Press Chapbook Competition. Join us as 2013’s winner, Julie Danho, reads from her winning chapbook, Six Portraits, which Kathy Fagan calls “a mash−up of ekphrasis and illumination, field and typography, private grief and public discourse…[which leaves] her reader stunned and haunted by these wisely crafted, devastatingly forthright poems.” She will be joined, also, by her friend, poet Gary Fincke.
