A Downtown Music Debut!

Downtown Music is excited to welcome virtuoso flutist Maron Anis Khoury for his debut performance.  Mr. Khoury was recently appointed to the second flute position with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and has performed under the direction of maestros Daniel Barenboim, Otto Werner Mueller, Christoph Eschenbach and Michael Stern.  Accompanied by the Canadian pianist Bryan Wagorn, he will present a program which includes music of Charles-Marie Widor, the Sonata for Flute and Piano of Lowell Liebermann, and the Carmen Fantasy of Francois Borne.
