Abstract Photography
“Abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead uses shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect” – Tate gallery website
Join us to learn how to create abstract photographs that serve as invitations to imagination and emotion. We’ll look at various ways of creating abstracts, from “straight photographs” to in-camera and post production techniques. Back by popular demand, photography mentor Judy Hancock Holland will explore why and how to start exploring the genre, and open up a new way of seeing and creating.
