Hudson Valley Music Club February Concert
The Hudson Valley Music Club, now in its 89th season of presenting fine classical music performances by professional and talented amateur soloists and chamber ensembles, announces its February concert in the Mostly Morning Series.
On Monday, February 24, at 1:00 PM, the Club will present a concert of string and piano quartets featuring Westchester musicians Meg Hill, violin, Kathleen Thomson, violin, Chizuko Ishikawa, viola, Elizabeth Sadewhite, ‘cello, and Shi-Ling Shih, piano. They will perform a string quartet by Haydn and a piano quartet by Faure.
This concert will be dedicated to the memory of James Sadewhite, late conductor of the Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra, and a long-time member of the Hudson Valley Music Club. Jim passed away in October, 2013 and is sorely missed.
