Cooking class for children: Dolci di Carnevale
Everything in Italy has a story, and this is no different. Ciacchiere means to chat in Italian. They crackle and crunch as you bite into the fragile, crispy pastry. This is perhaps the easiest and funniest recipe. It is also very popular throughout Italy under different names. In Northern Italy they are called Grostoli, or Galani, while in Central Italy they are called Sfrappole, Cenci or Frappe. Appropriate for all ages. Space is limited, early registration is suggested. Must register in advance and prepay.
