Painting the Figure

With a focus on figure painting of both nude and clothed models, learn basic materials, tools, and techniques for figure painting in oil or acrylic on canvas.

The subjects for compositions in this course will be taken primarily from the human model; however, some may be taken from photography. The course will explore techniques for creating art from real life through the use of photography, and how you can use figure painting skills developed in class to create art on your own.
