December Vacation Week Craft Workshop: Junk to Treasures

“One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.”  Art can be created out of just about anything you can imagine or find lying around your home.”One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.”  Art can be created out of just about anything you can imagine or find lying around your home.  Junk construction — the use of recyclables or things that would be thrown away to make whatever a person wants — is a way to think, revise and express ideas.  We’ll create – using boxes, bottle caps, ribbon, paper from wrappings or catalogues, and lots of other things to make anything and everything — things to play with, things to use, things to look at and love. (Feel free to use in things you’d like to recycle – wrapping paper, ribbon, boxes – whatever!) Limited to 25 children ages 4 & older, on a first-come, first-served basis.
