3pm: Welcoming address by Library Director Pamela Thornton
3pm: Orchestral music by Igor Stravinsky, Erik Satie, Arthur Honegger, and Darius Milhaud including the playing of Milhaud’s Le Boeuf Sur Le Toit simultaneously with Charlie Chaplin silent film, readings from the period and a rarely seen short of Erik Satie dancing. Michael Shapiro conducts.
