Marlene VerPlanck & Her Trio

Marlene started her career in radio and television but eventually found her way among big bands, working with Charlie Spivak, Tex Beneke, and later her husband, musician and arranger Billy VerPlanck, after she met him. Marlene has sung back-up for every artist from Frank Sinatra to Kiss and been featured on numerous TV programs like “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Today Show.” Thanks in part to her experience with and love for classic jazz, Marlene is able to infuse her performances with a lovely nostalgia, creating a truly unique musical experience.
