Opening Reception: Fiber Forward at The Gallery at Yellow Studio

The Gallery at Yellow Studio invites the public to the opening reception of Fiber Forward on Saturday, May 30, from 4 to 6pm.

Curated by Tina Villaveces, Fiber Forward is an expansive group exhibition bringing together 38 women and non-binary artists who are reimagining thread, fabric, rope, and other fibrous materials as vehicles for critical inquiry, spatial intervention, and personal expression. The exhibition presents sculpture, installation, embroidery, weaving, and mixed media alongside activist craft kits, quilts made from repurposed domestic textiles, and large-scale fiber installations.
