Introduction to Memoir
Introduction to Memoir is part of the School of Continuing Education’s Personal Enrichment classes in the midday master class series. Join us on four Wednesday afternoons from 1:30–3:00 PM as we explore the art of memoir writing.
In this course, you’ll embrace your distinctive voice and begin telling your story. Through reading and discussion of classic and contemporary personal essays—as well as works of memoir, autobiography, and autofiction—you’ll gain insight into the craft of personal storytelling.
Students will write and workshop original personal essays while exploring pathways to expand their work into full-length memoir manuscripts.
