Isaiah J. Thompson Quartet

Though not yet 30, pianist/composer Isaiah J. Thompson has already compiled a staggering resume: Two degrees from Julliard, honors from the American Piano Awards, the Essentially Ellington, Charles Mingus and Thelonious Monk competitions, performances with giants like Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride and John Pizzarelli and on the Golden Globe-nominated soundtrack for the film Motherless Brooklyn.

He’s led five recordings, most recently his hard-bopping, spiritual The Book Of Isaiah: Modern Jazz Ministry, which Paris-Move.com called “Indispensible.”
