Composer-Producer – Instrumentalist John Lissauer is one of music’s most accomplished and versatile figures. Recently inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for producing, arranging and conducting Leonard Cohen’s iconic recording of “Hallelujah,” his work spans six!
decades at the highest levels of American music. Composer of scores for over 45 feature films and documentaries, John has also received numerous Gold and Platinum records for the three dozen albums he has produced. As a jazz performer, he has recorded and performed with Michael & Randy Brecker, David Sanborn, Steve Gadd, Don Grolnick, John Tropea, and many others. Still deeply active in the NY city music scene, an evening with John Lissauer is a rare and intimate encounter with one of the great musical minds of our time.
