Pagans, Pitchforks & Psalms

Westchester Oratorio Society, under the direction of Artistic Director David Štech, will present an all-Mendelssohn program titled “Pagans Pitchforks & Psalms.” The performance will feature Mendelssohn’s “Verleih’ uns Frieden,” “Psalm 42” Op. 42, and “Die erste Walpurginacht,” Op. 60. The concert will take place at the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco, NY.

Soloists for this performance are Elizaveta Kozlova (soprano), MunTzung Wong (mezzo-soprano), Michael Anderson (tenor), Brian Alvarado (baritone), and David Salsbery Fry (bass). They will be accompanied by the WOS Chamber Orchestra.

This concert is made possible by a grant from The New York Community Trust. Concert Details

On Saturday evening, May 9, 2026, the Westchester Oratorio Society, led by Artistic Director David Štech, will present an all-Mendelssohn program entitled “Pagans Pitchforks & Psalms.” The concert will feature Mendelssohn’s “Verleih’ uns Frieden,” “Psalm 42” Op. 42, and “Die erste Walpurginacht,” Op. 60.
