UNIQUE “You Have a Choice” for Neurodiverse Audiences
Bronxville, NY & Stamford, CT — Concordia Conservatory, in partnership with Orchestra Lumos, continues its 25-26 UNIQUE Series with You Have a Choice, an interactive, sensory-friendly show designed especially for neurodiverse individuals of all ages, their families, and caregivers.
The show will be presented on: Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 am at The Reformed Church of Bronxville (180 Pondfield Road) and at 1:00 pm Concordia Conservatory Stamford (884 Newfield Avenue)
Written by Conservatory faculty member Rami Vamos and hosted by Tommy Schrider, the performance features Concordia Conservatory faculty Heather Bixler (violin), Annette Espada (cello), and Yousif Sheronick (percussion), along with Orchestra Lumos artist Chad Smith (saxophone and clarinet).
You Have a Choice explores the many decisions musicians make, what notes to play, how loud, how fast, and invites audiences to make choices of their own. Listeners will be encouraged to decide what to focus on, how to respond, and even how to move. Designed to be welcoming, this interactive concert creates a supportive environment where participation is encouraged and every response is valued.
The UNIQUE Series reflects Concordia Conservatory’s ongoing commitment and mission to accessibility and inclusion in the arts, offering meaningful live music experiences tailored specifically for neurodiverse individuals and their families.
