Painting from Observation

Create a dynamic still life and learn the fundamentals of painting from observation. In this workshop students will learn the art of observation. A still life will be set up in the classroom for students to copy. Working from direct observation, students will learn essential techniques for creating a compelling composition, mixing a proper color palette, and creating form from color. 

This workshop will take place off-site at The Hendrick Hudson Free Library.
