Plushie Keychain Workshop

Embrace the handmade and sew a unique plush keychain or bag charm by hand. In this workshop, participants will practice working with fabric, needle, and thread to construct simple stuffed forms that can be carried anywhere.

 

France Rreally is an artist and filmmaker. His interdisciplinary practice explores anxiety around systemic collapse—whether societal, ecological, or bodily—to create a language for experiencing the immaterial. He has shown and performed his work around North America and Europe including at Anthology Film Archives, Dia Beacon, Millennium Film Workshop, BRIC Arts Media, the Hudson Valley Museum of Contemporary Art, and various film festivals such as the Mono No Aware Festival of Cinema, Film Diary NYC, Fringe! Queer Film and Arts Fest, and Cactus Club Independent Film Festival. He has been an Artist in Residence at Arteles Creative Center (Haukijärvi, Finland) and Casa do Xisto (Maciera de Rates, Portugal). He has been a volunteer at the collectively-run microcinema Spectacle Theater in Brooklyn, NY since 2019. He lives and works in New York City, where he is always becoming and re-becoming himself.
