Taconic Opera’s Annual Gala – 2025: Opera Tells a Tale
Celebrate Taconic Opera’s 28th Season with superb food and opera performances by its mainstage singers
Taconic Opera – now in its remarkable 28th season and past recipient of the Arts Organization of the Year Award in Westchester County – will hold its annual fundraiser Gala on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the CV Rich Mansion, 305 Ridgeway, White Plains, NY. Start time: 7:00 pm. This year’s theme: Opera Tells a Tale.
This year’s gala will celebrate all of the fables and fantasies found in opera, from Turandot to The Magic Flute, from Cinderella (La Cenerentola) to Rusalka. These unforgettable stories from around the world have taught us for centuries about love, loss, patience, and persistence. Dine on wonderful catered cuisine while listening to Taconic Opera’s leading singers from Turandot. In addition, we will be honoring three very special supporters of the company.
All Gala proceeds support Taconic Opera’s exciting 2025-2026 season of events which will include a fully-staged production of Puccini’s Turandot at the Tarrytown Music Hall (11/15/25, 11/16/25), a new oratorio based on the biblical story of Moses (2026), and a double piano concerto (2026).
Attendance at the Gala will be by a partially tax-deductible donation: Gold $250; Silver, $200; Bronze $150. Discounts are available for tables of eight.
