Intro to Mosaics Workshop
Have you always wanted to learn how to make mosaics? Clay Art Center has the workshop for you!
Intro to Mosaics with Regina Farrell-Fagan takes place over two Thursday afternoons in September; on the 18th from 1.30-5.30pm, and the 25th from 1.30-4.30pm.
This introductory-level mosaic workshop will explore mosaic-making techniques and best practices for a variety of indoor and outdoor settings. Students will gain hands-on experience making sampler mosaics, in addition to exploring various mosaic and tile-making techniques. The workshop will also discuss mosaic design, tools, and installation practices. Students can expect to finish a sampler mosaic, grout the mosaic, learn the basics to design their own mosaic, and make various templates for tile design. Ages 17+, No experience necessary!
