BYOB Night Out: Textured Ceramic Mugs

In this BYOB night students will design and make their own texture mats using craft foam and ballpoint pens. Then, they will experiment with impressing their textures into slabs of clay to create beautiful surface designs. Using these custom-textured slabs, students will handbuild a set of unique mugs while learning how to attach different styles of handles. In the final session, students will glaze their pieces, preparing them for the kiln!
