Charles Addams Cartooning

We’ll tour The Rye Arts Center Gallery exhibit, “COMPLEMENTS: Charles Addams and Suzanne Heilmann”. Although Charles Addams created illustrations spotlighting a variety of subjects, he is best known for The Addams Family cartoon that inspired movies, TV shows, and has become an iconic element in both the art world and pop culture. In this workshop, we are going to explain Addam’s style and draw his characters or originals in that style. | Taught by Jack Hopkins
