What’s The Story?

Writers will select a work featured in the current Rye Arts Center Gallery exhibit, “COMPLEMENTS: Charles Addams and Suzanne Heilmann”. Then, writers will create a backstory for, develop a character inspired by, or embellish a character featured in the work. We will write a scene or short story that is inspired by that work. Comedy is encouraged. Bring a laptop or notebook and pen. Writers may share their work at the conclusion of the session (optional.) No previous writing experience required.
