The Royal Haus of Maison-Margiela and the Iconic House of Miyake-Mugler | A Westchester Roots Event
Join us for a special program with Icon Hall of Famer Founder Michael Roberson Maison-Margiela, in which he explores the history of Ballroom as a freedom movement and spiritual formation in responses to race, class, sexuality and gender oppression. Founder of four major ballroom houses, father to hundreds in the community, and author of the forthcoming book Ballroom: A History, A Movement, A Celebration (2025, Hachette), Michael is one of ballroom’s most important leaders today.
Following the conversation, the Iconic House of Miyake-Mugler will present an original performance production on the 2025 Westchester Pride main stage.
