Digital Art Intensive: Concept Art & Character Design for Video Games

Bring your video game visions to life! This immersive digital art camp is perfect for aspiring artists eager to design compelling characters, build breathtaking environments, and create the worlds of their dreams. In this hands-on course, students will explore:
- Concept Art for Video Games – Learn how to develop captivating settings, creatures, and props that shape a game’s atmosphere and storytelling.
- Character Design – Craft unique, expressive characters that players will connect with, from heroes and villains to fantastical creatures.
Guided by an expert instructor, campers will sketch, refine, and digitally paint their ideas, using industry-standard tools like Procreate on iPads or computers. They’ll develop an understanding of color, composition, and visual storytelling to make their designs stand out.
Supervised Lunch:
Beyond digital projects, students will enjoy a supervised lunch hour filled with creative activities, including free draw, gallery tours, and games in the courtyard.
- Students must bring their own lunch (no peanut products, please).
- Doors open at 8:50 AM each day—please plan accordingly.
- All artwork will be created digitally on iPads or computers.
