Digital Art Intensive: Minecraft Modding

You’ve explored every biome, built redstone-powered cities, and conquered the Nether—now it’s time to take Minecraft to the next level! In this exciting class, students will dive into MCreator to design and build their very own custom mods, adding new elements to the game they love. While creating playable content, students will also gain a deeper understanding of game mechanics, coding logic, and digital design. Whether it’s new blocks, tools, creatures, or entirely original gameplay features, the possibilities are endless! Perfect for both budding game designers and Minecraft enthusiasts ready to make their mark.

Supervised Lunch:

Beyond digital projects, students will enjoy a supervised lunch hour filled with creative activities, including free draw, gallery tours, and games in the courtyard.

• Students must bring their own lunch (no peanut products, please).
• Doors open at 8:50 AM each day—please plan accordingly.
• All artwork will be created digitally on iPads or computers.
