Digital Art Intensive: Stop Motion Maquettes

Youth Ages 8+

Bring your characters to life! In this hands-on class with The Nerdy Duo, students will learn the fundamentals of storytelling and stop motion animation by crafting their own fully customizable Lucky 13 stop-motion figures. From assembling and modifying their maquettes to designing unique costumes, students will explore a wide range of prop-making techniques—including traditional painting, sewing, and sculpting, as well as digital enhancements and 3D-printed additions. With limitless creative possibilities, this class is perfect for budding animators and storytellers looking to build their own cinematic worlds!

Supervised Lunch:

Beyond digital projects, students will enjoy a supervised lunch hour filled with creative activities, including free draw, gallery tours, and games in the courtyard.

• Students must bring their own lunch (no peanut products, please).
• Doors open at 8:50 AM each day—please plan accordingly.
• All artwork will be created digitally on iPads or computers.
