creative souls, artists and artivists · concerned about the environment · passionate about exploring repurposed materials in art
REPURPOSER COLLECTIVE is a community of creative souls, artists and artivists who are concerned about the environment and are passionate about exploring repurposed materials in art. Founded by Natalya Khorover, we are scattered all over the world and are finally able to show together in our first annual exhibition titled com·mu·ni·ty /kə’myoonədē/.
As the title implies, we know how important is the feeling of fellowship with others, which is a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals. Our goal is to encourage the exploration of repurposing for our art practice, as it is the materialistic nature of humans which is leading us on the path to climate catastrophe. By reusing materials which would otherwise spill from the landfill, we are working towards a solution one little bit at a time.
