The Third Annual White Plains Puerto Rican Artisans Fair will be hosted by the White Plains Puerto Rican Cultural Committee at the Main Gallery of ArtsWestchester and will feature the work of over a dozen artists, craftspeople, mask makers, musicians, and authors. This fair will offer unique one-of-a-kind pieces just in time for the Valentine’s Day!
The White Plains Puerto Rican Cultural Committee is partnering with Comité Noviembre and the Puerto Rican Institute for the Development of the Arts (PRIDA) to present the Third Annual White Plains Puerto Rican Artisans Fair at the main gallery of ArtsWestchester. The artisans fair will feature unique art, literature, and examples of one-of-a-kind crafts pieces that cannot be found anywhere else! There will be homemade Puerto Rican cuisine. On Sunday, there will be ‘Literary Sunday’ event featuring authors giving book talks and read-alouds. We will have authentic Puerto Rican cuisine provided by ‘Abuelita’s Kitchen’.
Some of the artists, artisans, and authors featured are: Erica Soto, Amanda Lobos, Hector Santiago. Felipe Rangel, Milagros Lecuona, Damaris Moné, Maria Mercendez Morgade, Naomi Colon, William Santiago, Oliver Rios, Lisa Valle, Elaine Lopez Ruiz, Jorge Sanchez, Nico Dias, Teresa Varela, Maria Aponde, and Adriana Erin Rivera.

The White Plains Puerto Rican Cultural Committee is supported by The City of White Plains Mayor’s Office, The White Plains Recreation and Parks Department, the White Plains Business Improvement District, and a variety of additional community-based nonprofit organizations.
