New! History of Video Art 

This class will provide a detailed overview of the history of video art from the early experiments of the 1960s through to our contemporary moment responding where artificial intelligence and augmented reality, have become new tools. Students will leave the class having a thorough understanding of video arts context and relevance to today’s contemporary art landscape. Each course will consist of a lecture, class discussion, as well as time spend viewing examples of historically important works in the history of the video art movement. All classes will be held offsite at KinoSaito Art Center, located at 115 7th St. in Verplanck, NY. This class will meet offsite.
