Within/Without is an exhibit that explores visual storytelling and how what we create reflects deeper underlying narratives. Art has historically been used as a means of visual storytelling, and through these stories we can better understand ourselves and the world around us. We are showcasing work that draws upon memory, experience and storytelling to visually communicate the personal experiences of each artist conveying the humanistic power of art that inspires us to see the world through the lens of personal narratives. This show features audio recordings by each of the artists featured in the show telling the stories behind their works and art practice. Curated by Haifa Bint-Kadi.
