Celebrate Taconic Opera’s 27^th season opening with superb food and opera performances by its mainstage singers

Taconic Opera – now in its remarkable 27th season and past recipient of the Arts Organization of the Year Award in Westchester County – will hold its annual fundraiser Gala to support the company’s exciting 2024-2025 season of events which will include: a fully-staged production of Bizet’s Carmen at the Tarrytown Music Hall, a two-oratorio concert featuring works by Saint-Saëns and Poulenc, and more.

Dinner start time: 7:00 pm

Honorees of the Gala include long-time supporters Larry & Elaine Seberg and Michael McKee, and 20-year member of the Taconic Opera chorus, Linda Mekeel. Guests will dine on sumptuous cuisine and honor those whose contributions to the company are immeasurable.

Be prepared to both laugh and cry when several of Taconic Opera’s highly regarded corps of professional singers perform a selection of arias and duets from famous “opera” weddings, ranging from moments of pure bliss to the agony of arranged marriages…just like in real life, but with fabulous music!
