Intro to the Mac
Computers provide essential life skills for adults to function effectively. Computer Art and Design programs require basic knowledge of a Macintosh operating system.
This introductory class, for those new to the computer or to the Apple Operating System, explains the hardware and software. This course is intended for those with low computer literacy skills. Beginners will learn basic skills, i.e., using the mouse, using menus and icons, managing files, folders and windows, and navigation in text. The use of storage media and printers will be explained.
