When a healthy litter of puppies is suddenly paralyzed and vets recommend putting them down, a group of courageous women band together to fight for their survival. Nothing is off the table as they try Chinese herbs, acupuncture, underwater treadmills and even chicken soup. A Q&A with the director Gail Gilbert follows the film.
