Horace Silver Tribute featuring the Jared Pauley Quintet
New Rochelle resident and pianist Jared Pauley leads a quintet with special guests celebrating the music of the late pianist Horace Silver. The concert will explore a number of well-known compositions and some lesser-known gems from the prolific career of Silver. Known for his long tenure and association with Blue Note Records, Horace Silver recorded a number of well-known singles and albums. His music explored a multitude of genres including gospel, Bossa nova, and funk.
