Mark Morganelli & The Jazz Forum All-Stars Celebrate Brazilian Carnaval!


Flugelhornist Mark Morganelli leads his Jazz Forum All-Stars in a program celebrating Brazilian Carnaval and their recently released double-CD, Brasil! The group will perform celebrated Brazilian compositions by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Luiz Bonfa and other reknowned composers and feature both instrumental and vocal renditions of some of the most popular melodies associated with Brazilian Carnaval, including music from the award-winning film, Black Orpheus.

The performance will be followed by a reception with special access to the DR Center gallery, currently showing Portraits of Process
