Copland House Ensemble: Ghosts, Visions and Spirits

After opening ArtsFest 2022, the celebrated Copland House Ensemble returns to New Rochelle with another vibrant American musical journey.

Musical ghosts hover around this provocative concert of works by three of today’s most formidable composers, John Musto, Sebastian Currier, and John Harbison. Award-winners all, with a shelf of Pulitzers, Grammys, Emmys, and other honors among them, their featured works variously evoke the life and passions of a beloved opera singer, the imagined after-life of an iconic 19th-century Viennese composer, and the heyday of a musical language and genre that disappeared into history.

Featured artists are violinist Siwoo Kim, violist Tanner Menees, cellist Alexis Pia Gerlach, and pianist Michael Boriskin.
