Jay Brandford Tentet
Composer/arranger, flutist, and alto and baritone saxophonist Jay Brandford creates wonderful jazz with his ten piece band.
With Brandford’s extensive career in the music industry and especially the genre of jazz, there’s no doubt he will satisfy any crowd. He played baritone saxophone in the Duke Ellington Orchestra and now plays the tenor saxophone for the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra. But though his experience comprises much musical professionalism, Brandford’s informal performances exude no less passion and feeling. Needless to say, his tentet delivers a great performance of high Jazz standards.
