Watercolor & Collage Workshop at Urban Studio Unbound

DOROT Westchester is proud to partner with Urban Studio Unbound to offer a Watercolor & Collage Workshop at Warburton Galerie.

Adults 60+ will work from observation using both watercolor and collage elements to depict a still life of simple objects.

We’ll start with a piece of large mixed media paper, and apply a background “wash” of watercolor. Each artist will then draw with paper and construct a composition of what they see by collaging on top! Color theory will be discussed and incorporated. Participants will ultimately create a one of a kind artwork that will be displayed in the gallery windows for viewing by the community at large. A reception will be held to celebrate the artists and their work on Sunday 8/20 1-3pm. No experience necessary. Materials provided. View a video demonstration HERE.
