Noonday Concerts: Brian Carter- Jazz it Up
International Musician and Music Educator Brian Carter is a renowned percussionist, jazz drummer, arranger and composer.
Using his African-American heritage and background in Jazz Studies at SUNY’s Purchase and New Paltz, he creates very flavorful music. As well as producing Jazz Festivals, Carter is also the liaison to the jazz program in La Rochelle, France, hoping to connect his hometown of New Rochelle with its parent in a musical exchange. All of Carter’s passion and effort clearly show in the wonderful jazz he presents.
