Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra – Symphonic Tango

Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra and the Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet present the musical evolution of tango, from its roots in the traditional orquesta típica, to tango nuevo, as epitomized by Astor Piazzolla, to a contemporary sound that respects the past and looks to the future. All performances in the 400-seat outdoor amphitheater, which boasts a stunning view of the Hudson River and the Palisades, are free and begin at 8pm, with doors opening at 7:30pm. No reservations required. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Free parking is available. The HRM Amphitheater is ADA accessible through the entrance on John F. Kennedy Memorial Drive.
