Solo Photography Show: Construct / Deconstruct by Linda Greenhouse

In the past year it seemed everywhere I turned a building was rising or being torn down. As I absorbed the changes in my environment, I became fascinated by the complex relationships of lines, shapes, colors and textures found in construction and demolition sites. Zooming in with my camera to frame select parts of these sites, I was excited by the
patterns and rhythms that formed abstract works of art influenced by Mondrian’s simplifications, Kandinsky’s rhythms, and Pollock’s energy.
